I’m Shubhi,
media-poet
exploring the body
as interface.

I work across media — sound, moving image, digital media, installation, poetry
to make sense of medical, cultural, ecological, and digital systems.

My work has been published in POETRY, acquired by the Canadian Filmmakers Distribution Centre, and screened/exhibited internationally at festivals such as Tribeca, Short Shorts, Vector, Reel Asian, and ReelAbilities.

I graduated from USC with an MFA in Cinematic Arts and the University of Toronto with a BA in Media Studies. I’ve worked with organizations such as TIFF, Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival, Ghetto Film School, and Workman Arts.
