T-Shirt Tent

installation artist, sound designer

For this immersive sound installation, I turned the experience of bodily presence into a physical, inhabitable space.

To create an intimate experience for visitors, I made a tent of white T-shirts meant to evoke the human form while also offering a translucent, womb-like sanctuary. Inside, a speaker played a soundscape of intertwined heartbeats and breath patterns.

The experience reimagines the human body not as an object but as a space — of being, dwelling, and experiencing — inviting participants to reflect on their relationship with their own physicality and the basic rhythms of existence.

Bathroom Garden

installation artist, sound designer

I created this multi-sensory experience that turned an ordinary bathroom into an immersive nature retreat through sound, light, texture, and scent.

The installation featured a dynamic soundscape of a rainy garden. A ceiling-mounted speaker maximized the bathroom's natural reverberance, allowing water sounds to cascade and envelop visitors in a three-dimensional environment.

In addition, a rotating green light created ever-shifting dappled patterns reminiscent of sunlight filtering through leaves. The space was filled with carefully placed flora that transformed the space visually while releasing subtle natural aromas. A grass-textured rug created a physical boundary-crossing that enhanced the experience.

The result was a momentary escape that reminds us of the power of our environments over our physical and mental wellbeing.

Experiential Point of View

Oskar Fishinger

sound designer

While a student at USC, I made this sonic world for an animated piece from The Centre for Visual Arts, using my voice as the primary instrument to build an entire soundscape.

Through recording, layering, and transformation in Pro Tools, I shaped vocal elements into a variety of textures and tones. The whimsical, voice-built world creates a uniquely intimate connection with audiences due to the inherently personal nature of these sounds.
